Fit With Friends ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "Application"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. Your continued use of the Application after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Collection of Your Information

We collect the following information when you use the Application:

Account Information

When you sign in using Apple Sign-In, we receive and store a unique identifier associated with your Apple account. We do not receive or store your email address. During account creation, we collect your first and last name (as provided by Apple Sign-In) which are used as your display name and are visible to other users in your competitions. You can update your name within the Application at any time.

Health and Fitness Data

With your permission, the Application reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:

• Activity summaries: daily active calories burned, exercise minutes, and stand hours, along with your corresponding daily goals for each metric
• Workouts: workout type, duration, distance, and calories burned for individual workout sessions
• Additional metrics: step count, walking/running distance, and flights climbed

This data is uploaded to our servers so it can be compared against other users in your competitions. The Application observes changes to your HealthKit data in the background so it can sync updated activity automatically. We do not write any data to HealthKit.

Push Notification Tokens

If you opt in to push notifications, we store a device token provided by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) along with an app installation identifier so that we can send you notifications related to your competitions.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Fit With Friends Pro, we validate your subscription status through Apple's App Store. We store whether your account has an active Pro subscription, along with a transaction identifier and subscription expiration date provided by Apple. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we do not collect or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Technical Data

We collect your device's timezone setting (e.g., "America/New_York") for competition scheduling purposes, and your app version to check for required updates. We do not collect device model, operating system version, or other device identifiers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

To be clear about the scope of our data collection, the Application does not:

• Collect your location or geo-location data
• Access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• Use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• Collect device information such as device model, operating system version, or phone number
• Send you marketing emails or newsletters
• Sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

Use of Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

1. To create and manage your account
2. To display your activity data within competitions you have joined, so you and other competition members can compare fitness progress
3. To send you push notifications related to your competitions (if you have opted in)
4. To validate and manage your Pro subscription status
5. To operate and maintain the Application

Disclosure of Your Information

Your information may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

Other Users in Your Competitions

Your display name and fitness data (activity summaries, workout data, and related metrics) are visible to other members of competitions you have joined. Public competitions are visible to all users of the Application.

Service Providers

We use the following services to operate the Application:

• Apple Sign-In — for account authentication
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — for delivering push notifications
• Apple App Store — for processing subscriptions and validating receipts
• Microsoft Azure — for hosting our servers and database

By Law or to Protect Rights

We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.

Sale or Bankruptcy

If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may decline to honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy.

Security of Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using the iOS Keychain. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

Your Choices

You have the following options regarding your information:

• HealthKit Access: You can revoke the Application's access to your HealthKit data at any time through your device's Settings > Health > Data Access.
• Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings.
• Display Name: You can update your display name within the Application.
• Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Upon request, we will delete your account and personal information from our active databases.

California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Application, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Application.
